India is enriched with varied forms of art and culture. One of them being Indian Classical Music. Indian classical music is the devotion which unites the human mind with the spirit of God. It is also a form of art closest to human mind and soul.
D.V.Kanebuva lived with the philosophy of taking the strains of music from the metros to the small towns and back to the roots of the society. This Pratishthan has been established by Manjusha Patil, a promising disciple of D.V.Kanebuva to do the same by following his foot steps.
Some generous personalities have helped Manjusha Patil in building this Pratishthan, who are the pillars of this Pratishthan.
What we feel is that the realization of the values of Indian music should not be limited only to the classes but also the masses. The whole process of creating awareness of Indian Music needs a different approach. We believe that it is our moral responsibility to nurture and promote Indian Classical Music by putting forth varied programs. We have just begun our mission towards achieving our objective of pursuing, promoting Indian music.
